Is YAPI a Contracted Service?
How do I go about implementing YAPI?
To being the process of implementing YAPI, you will want to begin by visit our website to create a username and password.
This is simply to secure the practice’s YAPI license and will not be needed to open YAPI on the desktops or iPads. You can complete this by clicking here and selecting the sign-up button beneath your desired plan. From there you will be asked to login, please click the “login” button then the “Don’t have an account?” link. This is where you can create your account.
Upon completing the enrollment process you will receive an email welcoming you to YAPI. At the bottom of this email there will be a link for scheduling the installation of our software, during which you will want to set aside 10 minutes or so as the completion of the thorough survey regarding the practice’s server is required to schedule the installation. If the practice has an IT Director, you might wish to consult with them during this time. We tend to block out three (3) hours for the installation itself, but very rarely does it take that long. During that time the practice will have access to its computers and will be able to conduct business as usual.
Finally, we recommend two (2) to three (3) trainings prior to the full implementation of YAPI. Usually the trainings are scheduled 3-5 days apart, this way users have plenty of time to practice what was taught and notate any questions they might have about the previous training session. Should you feel you need additional training or help, we are always here for you and provide all forms of support at no additional cost.
Will YAPI slow down my internet?

How long does it take to integrate with my PMS?
Unlike our competitors whose systems take anywhere from 10 minutes to half a day to update patient information, YAPI updates information immediately. As shown in the demonstration, when the time comes to transfer patient information to your practice management software you will be able to integrate the two systems at the click of a couple of buttons. This means you can update the information as frequently as you would like. Also, you will have the opportunity to ensure all information on the documents are accurate and confirm it is being transferred to the appropriate patient in your PMS. Since the program is installed directly onto your office’s server, rather that being dependent on ours, updates occur immediately.
Will you waive the install / set-up fees?
We are aware that is common for other companies to waive the fees associated with the installation or set-up of their product as a sales gimmick to increase their number of users and sales. Unlike these companies, we have opted out of partaking in these sort of promotions. Not only are our services contract free and include unlimited training/support, we invest a fair amount of time and effort into ensuring the set-up of your offices. YAPI is customized for your practice. In order to make this possible, we have established these fees.
